The guidelines are contained in two draft memos signed by Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly and now under review by the White House, according to two people familiar with them. "I would say the president is contemplating releasing a tighter, more streamlined version", he said. Garrett asked Trump at a press conference on Wednesday about three recent incidents involving the Russian military: a Russian spy ship loitering outside of a U.S. The fly-bys, according to American officials, were deemed "unsafe and unprofessional". Three incidents in which Russian aircraft made low passes occurred on February 10 while USS Porter (DDG-78) was operating in worldwide waters in the Black Sea, Capt. The buzzing of the Porter by Russian aircraft occurred in global waters of the Black Sea near Romania. Approximately 2,800 personnel from Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, Turkey, the United States, Canada, Spain and Ukraine, 16 warships and 10 warplanes will participate in the 10-day exercises. (more...)

Tucson Sector Border Patrol Agent Vicente Paco said the device was "very complex" and the first catapult of this kind ever seen by agents at this part of the border. "Undocumented Mexican immigrants are not criminals or rapists", another sign read. Bomb disposal experts started work at 11.30am, 90 minutes later than planned, but defused the bomb in only 30 minutes, the governor of Central Macedonia, Apostolos Tzizikostas announced. Officials said the device was too degraded to tell if it was a German or an Allied bomb. Defusing the bomb and then moving it to a military shooting range " could take us up to two days ", he added. The magistrate rejected the request made by Toledo's lawyer, that the former president could have the opportunity to make periodic appearances in the court, instead of having to remain in prison while continuing the investigation. Toledo served as president from 2001 to 2006. His successors have also denied any wrongdoing.
