Nintendo Claims Two-Thirds of September Video Game Hardware Sales

Nintendo Claims Two-Thirds of September Video Game Hardware Sales

Here's a breakdown of the big update!

The pre-purchase option will only be available for certain games, allowing a customer to pre-load the game onto the system so that they can play it the minute it officially launches. It only works in four games now, and the results aren't great. This means that if you managed to do something unbelievably cool, you can quickly pop into your Album and ensure that you've got the video evidence to prove it. It's so easy to!

With the latest #Firmware Update, players can finally record videos on a handful of Nintendo Switch games. Once the transfer profile is completed, all the data associated with the user account you just transferred to the new machine won't be available on the original model.

Nintendo has managed to lead the industry in video game hardware sales - by a wide margin - for September, which is a very promising sign going into the holiday shopping season.

There's even a Super Mario Odyssey surprise or two hidden within the profile menu.

In the tough market of gaming consoles, Nintendo Switch has made its worth by giving numerous features at reasonable prices to compete with strong contestants like Microsoft and Sony.

There's no waiting for any downloads - you can start playing the game the moment it's officially "out".

A small but interesting function added with the new firmware is the ability to match the console's software version for a group of local users.

Other additions include new user icons themed around Breath of the Wild and Super Mario Odyssey.

Perhaps you noticed the dinosaur with a mustache and cap above? Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle faired a little better given that it is a newer title in Nintendo's roster, coming in at number 7, alongside the 3DS's Metroid: Samus Returns taking 8th place.
